We spoke to around seven ID firms before deciding to go with Design 4 Space, and Genevieve Tay was assigned as our ID. Their quotation stood out as very competitive compared to the others, and we also liked Genevieve’s approach from the start. She has a good eye for design while still being practical and creative. Whenever we had our own ideas, she would patiently explain whether they were feasible, share the pros and cons, and suggest a few options based on our budget and timeline. She was never pushy and always gave us space to decide. Throughout the renovation, Genevieve was professional, responsible and attentive to details. She visited the site regularly to monitor the progress and always kept us updated promptly. She even went the extra mile to help coordinate with some external contractors that we engaged ourselves. There were a few minor hiccups along the way, which is quite normal for renovation projects, but she handled them professionally and helped coordinate between us and the contractors. We also made a few changes and additions during the renovation, and Genevieve was always clear and upfront about the cost implications before proceeding with any variation orders. This made it much easier for us to make informed decisions and manage our renovation budget. Overall, the whole renovation process was smooth and relatively stress-free. We really appreciated Genevieve’s patience, responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile. Very happy with the final result and would definitely recommend her!
