Project Scope & Engagement
We engaged Jordan for a complete overhaul of our 2-bedroom condominium after the end of a tenancy. From the very beginning, he was accommodating and hands-on—attending multiple site visits and meetings, often adjusting his schedule to suit ours. He was also incredibly responsive, always available to address our queries or concerns, and resourceful in finding practical solutions for our more demanding requests.
What impressed us most was his ability to merge two very different design aesthetics—my preference for modern design with my wife’s inclination toward wabi-sabi. Jordan was able to blend both seamlessly into a cohesive and harmonious design that exceeded our expectations.
Design & Creativity – 9.5/10
One of the key highlights of working with Jordan was his design expertise. We had many ideas, including hacking the study room to create an open-concept kitchen with a connected island. Jordan took these ideas and turned them into highly functional and visually striking layouts. His drawings were delivered punctually, and he was quick to revise them based on our feedback.
The 3D renderings provided were an incredible match—about 95% accurate to the final result, which is a rare feat. This level of precision in design and execution is what truly sets Jordan apart.
Workmanship & Quality – 9/10
Though no renovation is without minor flaws, Jordan’s commitment to quality was unwavering. Any imperfections in carpentry or tiling were swiftly addressed, usually within the next day. He maintained close communication with the contractors and personally ensured that all rectifications were completed to high standards.
Multiple rounds of defect checks were conducted with Jordan present throughout, demonstrating his accountability and attention to detail.
Customer Service – 10/10
This is where Jordan truly shines. His responsiveness was nothing short of outstanding—whether it was assisting us during video calls while shopping for furniture and appliances, or patiently advising us during last-minute decisions at IT fairs or lighting shops.
He was transparent, communicative, and always solution-oriented. Every meeting was well-organized and productive, and his ability to offer thoughtful alternatives—like various kitchen island configurations—was invaluable.
Additionally, even unexpected issues (such as a clogged ventilator due to the condo’s age) were handled with grace and efficiency. Within days, Jordan had proposed multiple redesign options and executed a solution without delay.
Value for Money – 9.5/10
From the start, Jordan understood and respected our budget. His quotation was clear, fair, and reflected upfront discussions. Thanks to a well-crafted contract and thorough itemization, there were minimal variation orders (VOs), which made budgeting predictable and stress-free.
His sincerity in balancing cost and client needs was evident in every stage—from initial planning to final touches. Even the contractors he recommended, such as for curtains, offered some of the best value-for-money quotes we received despite our extensive research.
