Design 4 Space – ID Raymond Chia When I got my new BTO, renovation was one of my biggest worries – reliable contractor and ID who can design, communicate, patience and responsive. Met up few companies, none of them clicked, till I met Raymond from Design for Space. I submitted request via Hometrust. He replied shortly via WhatsApp asking for my requirements and budget. 2 days later, he provided an estimated quotation with 2 design concepts. Proposed designs were shared following week at the showroom. My first impression of him – young, energetic and warm. Unlike some ID who can only present paper version, he presented his design over laptop skilfully. Whenever I had any request or questions, he could easily change the layout and amend on the spot. Throughout the discussion, he demonstrated his eyes for details, patience and knowledge. After a lengthy discussion, I knew this is the ID I’d like to work with for next 3 months. No regrets. During the renovation process, we converse over WA regularly. His response to my WA was excellent. Almost immediate, if he is in meeting, he will reply with apologies saying to getting back after meeting. Never lets my WA unanswered for a day longer, even response at late hours. When selecting tabletop, he suggested to visit the sinister stone showroom. He said better visual seeing the full slap instead of the tiny sample. For the electrical points, he shared video explaining his proposed electrical points and switch’s locations. I was really impressed. None of the previous ID bothers to share such details. He will share minor details, seeking my agreement, not assuming his own decision. As mine is a 2-room unit of 46 sq m, for the sofa and dining set, he advised me on the measurement to ensure sufficient walking space. He is so thoughtful. He closely monitors the progress of the renovation, following up with the various contractors. I was really impressed with his positive attitude and professionalism. All in all, I highly recommend Raymond and Design 4 Space for your go to renovation project. Thumbs up!
