2) Will the ID communicate with us effectively on our needs?
3) Will the ID contractors be able to deliver good workmanship and on time?

Only our second meeting, we discover he is very efficient and within a week from the first, he can churn out a general 3D design using Google Sketch Up. Not many IDs can do that in a week after giving him our floorplan.

In refining the design, Ivan has been creative in his ideas and great in matching colors, yet he also listens to our preferences and provided suggestions to enhance what we want. In short, he can find a middle ground that both parties are happy.

In the course of our new home renovation, Ivan would always inform us on every detail and even suggest practicability ideas like modular furniture to have more space during movement. As we are busy adults, we cannot oversee everything, but Ivan has been able to supervise the renovation almost daily and he managed the whole project for us so that we could focus on our pressing priorities.

Every stage of the renovation starting from masking, wiring, painting, lighting and furniture installation, he has been very prompt in updating us on every progress of the renovation through WhatsApp. If we need changes, even at odd hours, he will response and make changes the next day, which we find him very speedy.

To say no mistakes during renovation would be a bluff. Mistakes can happen but Ivan makes little and he always remedied the situation quickly. He does not tense up easily and very professional in his job and always served with a smile and sometimes even going the extra mile and ON TIME.

When come to shopping selection, he also accompanied us to purchase our furniture and curtains. Overall the workmanship is good and even after handover when we have a very minor and not urgent defect, he will promptly get his contractors to help us out the next day.

Ivan is friendly, knowledgeable and committed designer. We are happy that he has checked all our requirement and the price by his company is competitive. We are very glad to chance upon him and established a friendship with him.
