We consulted with 4 IDs before deciding on Vincent Chuah from TPY branch. What stood out about Vincent was his consultative approach, patience in understanding our needs as well as detailed breakdown of the quotation. To be honest, we still had our reservations after we confirmed on him as we have had a bad experience with our previous ID from another firm.
However, Vincent proved to be consistent throughout the renovation process. As we had a tight schedule to meet, he helped to monitor the progress closely and often updated us through photos or voice messages, a gesture which we really appreciated. He’s one who will go the extra mile. There was also an occasion when we had bought some decorative wall pieces which we required help to hang. He offered to help us despite having another place to rush off to, and he never rushed through the task. He ensured that the task was done properly before he went off.
No renovation process is without hiccups; but with a responsible ID, one can be reassured that he/she will strive to resolve it asap for you. We encountered a situation when our neighbour experienced leakage in their ceiling and as a result, our work was halted. Vincent spoke to our neighbour and sent a plumber down first thing in the morning to check on the leakage. Eventually it was found out that it was unlikely to be caused by the renovation but Vincent still sent his painter to do touch up on their ceiling as a good gesture.
Even after moving in, whenever we have a question about the renovation or when some touch up is required, Vincent is still prompt in reverting and demonstrates the same level of professionalism to help us with our questions.
